She falls, and doesn't want to get up, why? Because if she gets up she'll have to prepare herself for another hit. . . If she stays down, he just might back off, that's what she's hoping for. He hits. He hits her. He hits her a lot. She can't do anything about it, she waits for him to leave the room before she gets back up, then she walks to the window and stares at the bright lights of the city that never sleeps. She's trapped. She thinks she can't do anything about it. Her mother says to call the police, but she knows that will only make things worse. So she doesn't. She cries herself to sleep, and dreams of running away, with her baby girl. Far away. Somewhere where he will NEVER find them. She sleeps for 3 short hours and wakes up to the sounds of sirens, they're down the street, but she can hear the screams, the cries of those hurting. She wants to join them, but she doesn't dare. So she sits there, for another 4 hours staring at the wall, wishing she wasn't.

That. Is. Great. You did such a good job on this because I can see how she is feeling, and I like how it was color coded. GREAT JOB!
